Position:
You have a natural drive for attention to detail, an innovative flare, take initiative, and can work well with all types of personalities. This is a multi- faceted role requiring the successful candidate to wear a variety of hats. A good understanding of the operations of an engineering firm will ensure you can jump in and be a valuable member of the team.
You have solid intermediate skills in Microsoft Office. Thorough knowledge of Word (including the use of mail merge, tables of content, table building, Adobe Acrobat), Excel (formula creation, formatting, adding columns), Outlook (strong typing and data entry skills).
You will be on Reception daily, handling such tasks as answering a multi-line phone system, greeting clients and customers, typing of correspondence, booking travel, mail, couriers, faxing, maintaining office supplies, event coordination and other general office duties. You will support various Project Leads in the office putting together final documentation for projects, plus more. To compliment this you will be experienced with general accounting clerk tasks such as processing expenses and payables.
