Project Manager - Edmonton, AB

Position:

Project Management requires leadership and superior interpersonal communication skills. You should be proficient at problem solving and prioritization of issues. You will be expected to prepare project execution plans and manage the projects to the plan. You are responsible to coordinate the project deliverables to the expectations of all stakeholders by effective control of project scope, cost, and schedule. We value the ability for our project managers to contribute technically as well as administratively to the projects, and expect you to always be on the look-out for new business opportunities.

You will report to the Edmonton Regional Manager and be assigned to oversee our automation and electrical projects. Rutter Hinz have established Project Management Standards that comply with PMI processes and tools to monitor and control our projects.

Requirements:

P.Eng or C.E.T. accreditation with minimum of 8-10 years of project engineering experience. Demonstrated leadership and a strong technical design or programming background are qualities that we are most interested in. Must be competent with Microsoft Office and Windows operating systems. Project experience in the oil and gas production industry is an asset with at least 5 years experience as a Project Manager. PMI accreditation and a strong technical design and programming background are qualities that we are most interested in. Must have a strong command of the English language both oral and written.
