Project Engineer/Technologist, RTU – all levels required, Jr. Int. Sr. – Calgary, AB

Position:

As a valuable team member you would be expected to develop, maintain and troubleshoot a wide variety of real-time applications involving multiple languages and databases. You must be able to work with minimum supervision, however, recognizing and utilizing the abilities and resources at hand within other team members. You will be jointly developing industrial software for SCADA, oil and gas measurement, communication protocols, field data capture, and production reporting applications to name a few. You must be comfortable with basic hardware troubleshooting and PC networking as required in real-time environments.

Requirements:

Degree or diploma in Electrical/Computer Science/Engineering/Technology with a minimum 3-10 years experience in real-time control systems programming. Should be fluent in Microsoft operating systems with VB, or C++. Experience with Bristol Babcock RTU’s and ScadaPack RTU’s is required. Applications experience with oil and gas production or pipeline SCADA systems resumes will be considered first.
