Project Manager - Calgary, AB

Position:

Project Management requires leadership and superior interpersonal communication skills. You should be proficient at problem solving and prioritization of issues. You will be expected to prepare project execution plans and manage the projects to the plan. You are responsible to coordinate the project deliverables to the expectations of all stakeholders by effective control of project scope, cost, and schedule.

We value the ability for our project managers to contribute technically as well as administratively to the projects, and expect you to always be on the look-out for new business opportunities. You will report to the Calgary Technical Manager and be assigned to oversee our automation and electrical projects.

Rutter Hinz have established Project Management Standards that comply with PMI processes and tools to monitor and control our projects. We will provide full training with our standards and systems and customize a professional development training program to complement the training and experience that you bring

Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years of project engineering experience. Demonstrated leadership and a strong technical design or programming background are qualities that we are most interested in – previous Project Management experience is not necessary. Must be competent with Microsoft Office and Windows operating systems. Must have a strong command of the English language both oral and written. Project experience in the oil and gas production industry is an asset.
